We are pleased to announce that we have started using Nioxin hair and scalp care products.

Nioxin, founded by Eva Graham after she suffered with hair loss due to having a baby, is one of the top brands for salons and stylists trying to combat hair loss and hair thinning. Used in over 30 countries, since its release in 1987, Nioxin and its benefits, have spread from the USA to Australia and everywhere inbetween.

Nioxin products are based on the principle that the scalp is an extension of the face, therefor the scalp, and subsequently hair, should be treat as such. In the same way that we would clean, cleanse, tone and moisturise our skin, Nioxin products do the same for our scalp and hair.

Often refered to as the anti-aging scalp and hair product, Nioxin uses a combination of vitamins and minerals, enzymes, herbs, botanicals, silk amino acid and kukui nut oil to exfoliate the scalp, removing product build up, excess skin cells and environmental products whilst still being kind to the hair.  Glyco – proteins add thickness from inside the cuticle strengthening the hair and repairing the damage. Whilst doing this Nioxin products help moisturise, smooth the hair and add shine. Glyco – colour shield is designed to protect the hair, scalp and prevent colour fade.

In 2008 Nioxin moved further into the field of hair loss in specific. They released Scalp Renew. Scalp renew is designed to help prevent hair loss and hair thinning due to breakage specifically. Nioxin realised that hair loss and hair thinning was on the rise with over 100 million people suffering in the US alone. After genetics, the main cause for hair loss and hair thinning is stress.
